Pinotherapy

An unusual manual technique

Pinotherapy, also known as pinopressure, is a therapeutic concept that uses the body's self-healing mechanisms. The creator of the method is a Pole - Dr. Radosław Składkowski.

The method is classified as reflex therapy, which uses the body's self-healing processes. With the help of copper nails (called pins) and special blades, specific points on the body are compressed and stimulated. It should be noted that the skin is not pierced in pinopressure.

The stimulation of the skin stimulates certain centres in the brain. Due to this, our muscular or ligamentous system receives signals from corresponding parts of the brain, which leads to reflex relaxation of accumulated tensions and reduction of pain.
